About Emily!

Emily Thompson is a dancer, singer, and actress currently located in New England. Emily is an upcoming graduate of Dean College in Franklin Massacusettes. She will be graduating with her BA in musical theatre and a minor in arts and entertainment management.   Emily was raised in the small town of New Gloucester Maine. Having danced sense the age of two, Emily was bitten by the performance bug at a very young age. In middle school, she debuted in her first musical, and by high school knew it was what she would want to do for the rest of her life.  At Dean College, Emily got the opportunity to strengthen her dance and performance skills in many the college's productions such as, dancing in the ensemble of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, All Shook Up, and Pippin. She also found her passion of choreographing and serving as a swing and dance caption for several productions. She was even awarded with Merit Awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for her work as dance caption in both How To Succeed and  All Shook Up. Along with her choreography work in main stage shows, Emily also had the opportunity to be the college's Musical Theatre Troupe vice president and choreographer.  When not in school and rehearsal, Emily loves to work as a party princess. She gets to sing, dance, and act as different fairytale and princess characters at birthday parties and other special events.  Emily loves to be surrounded by the performing arts. Whether that be singing Disney songs at birthday parties, dancing under the stage lights, or working behind the scenes to make the magic on stage happen. Emily is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to be involved within the performing arts. She would love to be apart of your next project, and looks forward to building her artistic career.
